“If you don’t realize the source of truth, your Buddha Nature, you stumble in confusion and sorrow.

When you realize where you come from

you naturally become tolerant, amused, kindhearted as a grandmother, dignified as a king,

immersed in the wonder, you can deal with whatever life brings you

and even when death comes,

you are ready.”

-Tao Te Ching

YIN YOGA TEACHER TRAINING - LEVEL II

50HR YACEP

ADVANCED PRINCIPLES IN MINDFUL PROCESS, INNER METHODS, YIN YOGA ASANA

In this level II training, we will be layering physical, emotional, and energetic engagement of immersive practice life:

Physical: Home of the Prana Vessel

Emotional: Home of the Dharma, Inner Methods & Mindfulness

Energetic: Home of the Hara & Chi Body

as well as immersive practices into the Buddha’s Divine Abodes- 4 Methods for Awakening Boddhicitta through heart methods:

Karuna: Compassion

Metta: Loving Kindness

Muddita: Selfless Joy

Kshama: Forgiveness

Level II will focus on the cultivation of an enriched Pranic field and an in-depth investigation of Buddhist Philosophical Principles- which we mingle with psychological self-inquiry and awareness practices in Yin & Yang Yoga Asanas. This course offers advanced anatomy, Yin & Yang Posture Clinics, Neuro-physiology of the Autonomic Nervous System, the path of awakening to the Dharma, and Meditation methodology.

A specific focus on THE WATER ELEMENT - KIDNEY MERIDIAN will be honed, as our channel of vitality. The Kidneys are known as the root of life in which the optimal functioning of all the other organs rely. In the deep folds of rest and rejuvenation, our Kidney Chi requires quietude and spaciousness to enrich the Pranic resources. As such, gentle meditation, restorative yoga, and an emphasis on rest response in parasympathetic nervous system will be highlighted.

While Level I is not a required prerequisite, we do suggest you have trained previously in essential features of a Yin Yoga & mindfulness based practice.

“These teachings are gentle, kind, empowering. My heart is full. I am so blessed to have had you teach, hold and nurture me during the last few weeks. The time spent with you and our spirit tribe has been transformative and invaluable. Thank you for your offerings.I look forward to attending your future retreats.”

— Sedona, AZ

Our focus together for this time will be on the contemplative side of yoga, the internal methods of cultivating the bodymind complex, harnessing the chi body, distributing its resources. The Buddha used one word in his sermons more than any other- Bhavana. Meaning, to cultivate. The trainings we offer are a nod towards human's agency to direct our attention to areas in which we’d like to manifest. As neuroplastic beings, where to attend to, is where our force field grows and thickens.

Through consistent discipline practice mingled with the soft expanse of heart methods such as Tonglen, Compassion practices, authentic relating in partner practices and diads, we encourage deep roots. These roots become the foundation of our daily practice so that we aren’t plucked from our fertile soil when the winds of turbulence meet our brief display of vital life in this body. Our yin trainings and retreats are a commitment to the inner dimensions of experience, a willingness to open up inside & wonder.
